Certificate Program in Research Administration
The Research Administration Program (RAP) offers a comprehensive curriculum for Research Services Analysts/Administrators (RSAs) who manage grants and contracts in academic departments. The curriculum is comprised of 10 half-day courses scheduled over three months that covers policies and procedures, roles and responsibilities, and best practices for pre- and post-award administration.

The curriculum is supplemented by workshops in specialty areas such as NIH Training Grants and NIH Career Development Awards. To enroll in the curriculum, you must be a research services analyst or administrator in an academic department. The specialty workshops target different audiences.
How to apply: Contact the RAP office at 502-7247 for cost, schedule and course registration instructions. Priority in selection will be given to analysts who have taken the prerequisites offered through Development & Training or have sufficient experience and are doing pre- and post-award administration full-time.
