** How do I log in and register for a course?

How do I Login?

In order to login, you will need:

  1. An employee ID number (starting with “02x xxx xxx"
  2. The last four digits of your Social Security Number

You must update your Profile

  1. Complete your profile. Your provide provides information quickly and automatically for fee-based enrollment and online enrollment.
  2. Enter your Fund (5 digits) /DPA (6 digits) number. Each time you register in a future “for fee” course, this account information will automatically and conveniently populate the account fields for you.
  3. Click the “Save changes” button.
  4. To log in enter your Employee ID (or your Email address) with your password.
  5. Look up and select the course you want to register.

How to change my password?

You can change your password at any time. See graphic below...

  1. Goto the change password utility
  2. Enter your Employee ID number (starting with “02x xxx xxx")
  3. Enter last four digits of your Social Security Number
  4. Enter your new password
  5. Select "Change my Password:

How do I register in an online class?

  1. You must have a Galen account and ID to register in an online course. If you do not have an account, create one here: https://www.ckm.ucsf.edu/account/
  2. Visit http://training.ucsf.edu. Select the course in which you wish to register and click the “Enroll in this Class” button. Proceed with the registration process.
