UCSF Furlough/Salary Reduction Implementation Guidance

The UC Furlough/Salary Reduction program is mandated and in effect September 1, 2009 – August 31, 2010. HR staff and academic personnel administrators bear much of the responsibility for implementing this program in the Campus departments. This site has been created to provide Campus administrators with up-to-date information regarding furlough/salary reduction measures and resources available to help them guide their departments through the program. This site is intended for: UCOP Resources The Office of the President has published system-wide information about the UC Furlough/Salary Reduction program. UCSF Administrator Resources In response to the general UC Furlough/Salary Reduction program, UCSF is establishing Campus-specific implementation guidelines. Additional Support If your question is not addressed in the FAQs or resources provided, please consult your department HR administrator(s). In the event they need additional information, they have been directed to contact the appropriate central administrative office.
