UCSF Open Enrollment for 2009

At Your Service Online Account Set-up/Password Reset

Due to new security enhancements for accessing your personal accounts on the At Your Service Online (AYSO) website, you must now make certain that you are able to login to your personal AYSO accounts. Having the ability to access your personal accounts, submit online transactions, as well as take Open Enrollment actions will ensure timely, convenient, and accurate processing.

For individuals who have not updated their account:

  1. You must create a user name to replace your SSN. The AYSO sign-in page has been modified to accept a user name only.
  2. Remember your password.
  3. Provide answers (with exact wording) to the security questions.
  4. Submit your personal email address (this provides you with automated notification/confirmation of activity on your personal accounts).
    • Your UC-email address is automatically uploaded to the systems—check for accuracy. Contact your Department Benefits Representative if you need to make changes to your email address.

New Employees & New AYSO Users

If you are logging into AYSO for the first time or have not created a username, you will need to click the link "new user" or "don't have a username" located on the AYSO login page. This will allow you to login with your SSN and password. If you've never used the online system, your temporary password will be your 8-digit birthday (e.g. 10252007). Once inside, the system will prompt you to create a new username and password.

Forgot Your “Username”

If you've forgotten your username but remember your password, you can click this link to log in using your SSN and password. If entered correctly, this method displays a screen that shows your username and instructions on how to change it, if you want to. By clicking "continue," you can proceed to your account.

Forgot "Password"

If you forget your password you can click the "forgot password" link and choose to either have it sent to your email address on file or to answer your security questions.

Highlights for 2009
UCSF Open Enrollment for 2009

Highlights for 2009

Medical Insurance Plans: Good News! UC has worked very hard to develop a strategy that helps shield employees from escalating health care costs while not cutting benefits. In fact, some employees will see a decrease in their monthly premium costs. Salary bands have been adjusted upwards. There are no changes to any of the medical insurance plans except as noted.

HealthNet: CVS/Caremark will be new prescription/mail order vendor (effective December 1, 2008)

Kaiser: 50 percent coinsurance payment for infertility services is excluded from annual out-of-pocket maximum

Western Health Advantage (WHA): Sutter-Solano Regional Medical Foundation (SRMF) is no longer available after December 31, 2009. WHA members who wish to remain with SRMF might consider selecting another plan during OE. (WHA is only available to UC employees living in the Sacramento service area.)

Stay Well for 2009: As part of UC's Wellness Initiative, Health Assessment (HA) Incentive will be available to those eligible employees enrolled as of January 1, 2009 ($100) and their spouse/domestic partner ($50) if HA is completed by the deadline -- April 15, 2009.

Eligible employees (and their spouse/domestic partner) enrolled in any UC-sponsored medical plan (with the exception of Kaiser) will be eligible for this program at no additional cost.

United Behavioral Health (UBH) will continue to administer the behavioral health component for all plans except CORE. The first three in-network visits remain free. Kaiser members may choose to use UBH or their current plan options.

Out-of-Network behavioral health benefits will only be available through the Blue Cross PPO plan.

Dental insurance plans: The UC contribution continues to cover the full monthly premium cost for you and your eligible family members’ dental insurance coverage. Two plan options: Delta Dental PPO or DeltaCare USA HMO.

Vision Service Plan: No plan changes. The UC contribution continues to cover the full monthly premium cost for you and your eligible family members’ vision insurance coverage.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA):

New FSA Vendor: CONEXIS becomes the new FSA Administrator effective January 1, 2009.

New FSA Names: Health Care Reimbursement Account becomes Health FSA & Dependent Care Reimbursement Account becomes DepCare FSA.

No Plan Changes: New Health FSA card will be issued by CONEXIS.

Grace Period: Eligible expenses incurred through March 15, 2008 can be applied to your 2008 SHPS account -- submit claims by June 15, 2009.

REMINDER: Continued participation in the flexible spending accounts requires re-enrollment during Open Enrollment for each plan year.

Legal Expense Insurance Plan: Not available during this Open Enrollment.
