Policy 70 - Local Implementing Procedures

Effective March 1, 2008, revisions were made to the local implementing procedures for Policy 70, Complaint Resolution, of the Personnel Policies for Staff Members (PPSM), as these pertain to non-represented employees.  These revised and updated procedures are on the Human Resources website.  These procedures are intended to facilitate the resolution of complaints arising from employment with the University and further provide clarification on the scope and steps for initiating and pursuing a complaint under Policy 70.

Fact-Finding Panel Release Report to UC and CNA

The fact-finding panel in UC-CNA negotiations released its report to the two parties on February 28, outlining the terms of a recommended settlement.  Over the course of six meetings, UC and CNA outlined their positions on a number of articles still open.  The two parties will have ten days, or until March 9, to consider the report, after which the report will become public.

More information will be available upon publication of the fact-finding panel’s recommendations.

For more details about the fact-finding process, please visit http://www.UCNurses.com and see the “Fact-Finding” section under the “Important Issues” tab.
