We Listened - New Computer Training Services Meet Your Needs
Last winter many of you completed a brief survey giving Development & Training essential information about your computer training needs. This spring we incorporated your feedback when we re-bid our computer training contract. After competitive bidding by major Bay Area vendors, we selected the vendor offering UCSF employees the best combination of broad services and competitive pricing. We are excited to announce our new computer training services provider: AcademyX.
Our new contract with AcademyX includes a broad range of training options, at preferred prices for UCSF employees generally 40% below public rates:
- Hands-on instructor led courses at UCSF. Open-enrollment courses begin in early August, and you can start registering next week at: http://training.ucsf.edu/. We’re gradually rolling out more courses so check our website regularly.
- Hands-on instructor led courses at AcademyX’s easily accessible downtown training site (601 Montgomery, right across from the Transamerica Building).
- Online ElementK training at your workstation.
- Online live instructor lead training at your workstation for some courses.
- Onsite training for groups. AcademyX can schedule a trainer to teach a group of people at your department.
- For more information on any of these topics, contact AcademyX. Their staff are very responsive on the phone and can answer your questions quickly. Contact: info@academyx.com (415) 392-8024
Watch for announcements as Development & Training partners with AcademyX to roll out expanded computer training services to meet your growing needs.
