Health Professionals Leadership Development Courses

The UCSF Center for the Health Professions designs and delivers leadership development courses for health care providers in the U.S. The Center’s programs provide the training, tools and knowledge required to lead systemic improvement in health care.

On September 25, 2007, the Center is offering a three-hour workshop entitled, “Managing Conflict Effectively.” Using the Thomas-Kilmann Inventory, participants will learn about different approaches to dealing with conflict in order to manage conflicts more effectively when they arise. For more information and to register online.

On October 17, 2007, the Center is offering a three-hour workshop entitled, “Working with Others Starts with You.” Using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, participants will become more aware of their own and others’ styles in order to improve interactions with others—an essential skill in every job. Update to At Your Service Online

Employees who forget their password when signing in to At Your Service Online (AYSO) may now choose the option to answer Challenge Questions to gain access to their AYSO accounts (AYSO includes access to earnings statements).

Since May, employees signing in to At Your Service Online have been asked to provide answers to Challenge Questions in preparation for the expanded “Forgot Password” routine. With the addition of the Challenge Questions routine, employees who forget their password will now have the choice of having a temporary password emailed to them or answering the Challenge Questions.

Employees who want to see or change their Challenge Questions and Answers can do so by signing in, selecting “My Security Preferences,” then going to the Challenge Questions page.

These security changes are part of continuing efforts to promote security and safeguard personal information on AYSO.
