2012 UCSF Finance Day
When: April 13, 2012, 10am–2pm
Where: Millberry Union, City Lights and Golden Gate Rooms
Generate your Personal Retirement Roadmap and bring it along with your general questions for one of the Fidelity representatives to address. Or, stop by to get more information from one of our many featured financial providers. There will be featured presentations and of course, free rubber duckies.
Benefits Family Member Verification Reminder
Employees with dependents enrolled in benefits have until May 17th to provide the required documentation to Secova, the vendor UC chose to facilitate this audit. You should have received a packet in the mail asking you to provide documentation that verifies their eligibility for coverage (view envelope). Employees that do not comply risk losing their health benefits.

Conducting Performance Appraisals
When: Tuesday, Apr 17, 8:30am – 12:30pm
Where: Laurel Heights Regents Room S-1
Cost: $55
In this 3rd course in the Performance Management series, learn to prepare for and conduct an effective appraisal. You will be able to work with your staff to reflect on progress, to examine objectives and standards of performance, and to set goals for performance and development.

Coaching for Improved Performance
When: Tuesday, May 22nd, 8:30pm – 12:30pm
Where: Laurel Heights Regents Room S-1
Cost: $55
In this 2nd course in the Performance Management series, you will learn to recognize and assess performance issues, and you will practice coaching communication skills to support employee performance improvement and development.

Share your Bright Ideas! Do you have an idea that will change our campus for the better? The UCSF Medical Center, UCSF School of Medicine, and Office of Sustainability now have an online suggestion box for employees to submit ideas that will improve UCSF’s ability to run operations more safely, efficiently, and sustainably. Go to the Bright Ideas website to share, vote and comment on ideas.
